The classic carboard chair project. No adhesives were allowed. It must be able to be constructed in two hours, and withstand 200lbs of force.
My first iteration of the chair was focused on having as minimal pieces as possible. As I looked around the room I realized it wasn't taking a direction that was special or specific. I decided to create a lounge chair which took a different approach to the lattice support. I decided to try and hide the crosshatch support beams so that the profile of the chair wouldn't be obstructed. To do this I cut the crosshatch in the same shape and angle as the profile view.
